Biography


Starting his DJ career in 2006, Porphyria rapidly improved his mixing technique and dj skills. It was only a question of time until he was discovered by the Corefreakz Events team, who asked him to become a resident DJ on their parties. Through the support he got from them and also through an amazing appearance at Sunshine Live's newcomer radio show "Hire&Fire", where he gained 99,4% positive votes, many doors had been opened for Porphyria and he was seen at almost every important party within the German hardcore scene. Porphyria played on huge events like Raving Nightmare, Megarave, 100% Hardcore and many more, but knowing that there's more to it than excellent and innovative mixing skills, he also started to put serious effort in producing his own tracks. In the end of 2009 his track "Remaining Defiant" and a collaboration with his friend Squaresoundz "Infernal" was released digitally.
However this was just the beginning and one may be curious to know what the future holds next for Porphyria.
